What’s the movie about?
The comedy “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” is about Cal Weavers (Steve Carell) in his mid-forties. He leads a happy life with two wonderful children from his childhood love Emily (Julianne Moore). But one day Emily suddenly wants a divorce. Cal then visits a local bar evening after evening and tries to talk to women, but this is only crowned with limited success. After some time he meets the womanizer Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling). He notices Cal, who is a hopeless case. Jacob decides to help Cal. He shows him what single life has to offer. But for Cal it quickly becomes clear: He wants to go back to his old love…
