What’s the movie about?
The comedy “CHiPS” is about Jon Baker (Dax Shepard) and Frank “Ponch” Poncherello (Michael Peña), who work for the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Both are on the road by motorbike to fight crime. Jon is a professional motorcyclist, who gets the newcomer “Ponch” to the side. “Ponch” is an arrogant FBI agent who was smuggled into CHP to expose corrupt motorcycle cops. The unequal couple initially hate each other, but with their different abilities they soon form a powerful team…
