What’s the movie about?
The “Battle of the Year” are the Olympic Games for Break Dance. Since 15 years no American team could win the title in their home country. Hip-hop mogul Dante (Laz Alonso) wants to train the team together with former basketball coach Blake (Josh Holloway). Dante is convinced that the right coach can lead any team to success. But time is short. In just three months, twelve talented dancers are expected to grow into a real team.
