What’s the movie about?
Bright 12-year-old orphan Peter (Levi Miller) rarely puts up with anything. But in the bleak home where he grows up, any sign of rebellion, no matter how small, is nipped in the bud. One night, Peter magically disappears from the orphanage and suddenly finds himself in magical Neverland, inhabited by fairies, warriors and pirates. While trying to find his way around the strange and fascinating place, he makes the acquaintance of the fierce tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) and the charming James Hook (Garrett Hedlund). All this is just the beginning of an adventure as dangerous as it is exciting, in which Peter not only learns about his missing mother, but also has to deal with the sinister and ruthless pirate Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman), whom he stands in the way of together with his new friends to save Neverland…
