What’s the movie about?
It was supposed to be a romantic vacation for American Beckett (John David Washington) and his wife April (Alicia Vikander). But the relaxing days in Greece turn into a nightmare for the couple when April disappears without a trace after a dramatic accident, putting Beckett at the center of a far-reaching conspiracy when he regains consciousness in the hospital. He is left with only one option to protect his life from the unknown masterminds: He must reach the American Embassy and clear his name. But getting to the embassy is dangerous, and Beckett has long since lost trust in strangers. As the Greek authorities close in on him, political tensions mount, and Beckett becomes further entangled in the dangerous conspiracy, the situation escalates….
