What’s the movie about?
The world has changed, mutants are now widely accepted in society. But a legendary villain is preparing to subjugate humans and mutants alike: Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), once revered as a god, is the world’s oldest and most powerful mutant. He is immortal and invincible because he combines the powers of many different mutants – and when he awakens after thousands of years, he is not at all happy about how the world has developed. To carry out his plan for a new world order, Apocalypse brings powerful mutants under his control: Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Storm (Alexandra Shipp) and Angel (Ben Hardy). It’s up to Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) and Prof. X (James McAvoy) to lead a team of young mutants to stand in Apocalypse’s way….
