What’s the movie about?
In the romance “Dirty Dancing” the rich Francis “Baby” Houseman (Jennifer Grey) and her family go on holiday in a hotel of Max Kellerman (Jack Weston). There she meets the dance teacher Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze). When his partner Penny (Cynthia Rhodes) can’t dance anymore because of an unwanted pregnancy, Baby offers her help. Now she has to learn the complicated figures of the mambo in a very short time. The two quickly get emotionally closer, but the way to the inseparable couple is rocky. Because the golden hotel rule says: The staff and the guests are not allowed to meet privately.
