What’s the tv show about?
The Netflix series “Atypical” tells the coming-of-age story of 18-year-old boy Sam Gardner (Keir Gilchrist). Sam suffers from Asperger syndrome, a variant of autism. He is highly intelligent, but cannot perceive the inner life of his fellow human beings. He completely lacks empathy. His parents Elsa (Jennifer Jason Leigh) and Dough (Michael Rapaport) try to give him a carefree life. Sam goes to therapy and tries to integrate into society like his sister Casey. However, he soon realizes that he is different from his fellow men. But that’s exactly when he can’t give up.
The intro of the song “kiss you all over” by the band Excile play in one of the episode but is mot listed anywhere, why is that?
