What’s the movie about?
The world has been waiting for this news for over a decade: The hunt for Osama bin Laden was successful and he was eliminated. kept the world on tenterhooks for more than a decade. In the end, a small team of CIA and Navy SEALs tracked down the most wanted terrorist. Every aspect of that mission was classified. Some details have since been released, but the crucial aspects of the operation are revealed for the first time in this film by Academy Award winners Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal. The story, told from the perspective of young CIA agent Maya (Jessica Chastain), takes us into the control centers of power and to the front lines of a risky and controversial mission. It is about extraordinary courage and borderline situations in which the usual moral rules no longer apply.
