What’s the tv show about?
For Prince William (Edvin Ryding), a new phase in his life begins at the prestigious boarding school Hillerska. Out of the tight corset of royal obligations, he wants to savor his youth and find out who he really is, what he loves and whom he loves. The wish seems to come true, but reality quickly brings him back down to earth when he finds himself the next in line to the throne. His mother Queen Kristina (Pernilla August) does not make it easy for her son to get involved with the future and the obligations ahead. Wilhelm must make a difficult decision about which life he prefers and which love, is worth fighting for. The path to self-discovery becomes an obstacle course, at the end of which hurt hearts and disappointments await Wilhelm.
