What’s the movie about?
The comedy “Intouchables” is about the paraplegic (François Cluzet). He is rich and has not yet lost his will to live. When he is looking for a new caregiver, Driss (Omar Sy), freshly released from prison, suddenly appears on his doorstep. He actually only wants a stamp for having presented himself in order to continue receiving unemployment benefits. But Philippe hires Driss. He likes his easygoing, carefree manner. At first, Driss doesn’t want to take on a permanent job. But slowly but surely an unusual friendship develops between the two.
