What’s the movie about?
The Netflix comedy “The Fundamentals of Caring” is about former author Ben (Paul Rudd), who loses his child after a heavy blow of fate. Shortly thereafter, his wife divorces him. Worried about money, he decides to fast-track his training as a nurse. His first patient is 18-year-old Trevor (Craig Roberts), who suffers from muscular dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair. The two hit it off right away and plan to travel together to the most boring attractions in the US. On their way across the US, they meet rebellious teenager Dot (Selena Gomez) and expectant mother Peaches (Megan Ferguson). The two women keep the men on their toes during their journey…
