What’s the movie about?
The comedy “The Naked Truth” is about TV producer Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl). The channel’s morning show has to struggle with bad ratings. For this reason their boss Stuart (Nick Searcy) wants to hire the supermacho Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler). In his show “The Ugly Truth” he is supposed to give controversial life advice to win back spectators. Abby is not very enthusiastic about Mike and finds him disgusting. To get rid of Mike Abby wants to make a deal with him: He wants to find the perfect partner for her. If he fails, he voluntarily takes off his hat at the TV station…
