What’s the movie about?
Spenser (Mark Wahlberg) – an ex-cop better known for causing trouble than solving it – has just been released from prison and is leaving Boston for good. But first he is tempted to help his old boxing coach and mentor Henry (Alan Arkin) with a promising amateur. This is Hawk (Winston Duke), a brisk MMA fighter who is convinced that he will be a tougher opponent than Spenser ever was. When two of Spenser’s former colleagues are murdered, he recruits Hawk and his foul-mouthed ex-girlfriend Cissy (Iliza Shlesinger) to help him with the investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice.
