What’s the movie about?
One day his late mother Katie (Melissa Leo) appears to the musician Charlie (Shia LaBeouf), who speaks to him and asks him to get his life under control. He travels to Bucharest. In the plane he has to witness the death of his friend Victor (Ion Caramitru), whose last wish is that his daughter Gabi (Evan Rachel Wood) gets his luggage. When he meets Gabi he falls in love on the spot. However, the young beautiful woman is married to a psychotic drug lord Nigel (Mads Mikkelsen), who doesn’t want to lose his wife. But for Charlie it’s clear: He has to protect Gabi from the drug baron and confess his love to her…
