What’s the movie about?
The film “Atomic Blonde” takes place shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. A MI6 officer is found dead in front of the Berlin Wall. He was supposed to smuggle a secret list into the West. The list includes all spies working in Berlin. To get the highly explosive list back into the possession of the Allies, the MI6 director Gray (Toby Jones) and CIA boss (John Goodman) send the experienced spy Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron) right into the crisis area. There she works with ex-secret agent David Percival (James McAvoy) and seductive French agent Delphine (Sofia Boutella).
