What’s the movie about?
The drama “American Made” is about the pilot Barry Seal (Tom Cruise) who smuggles drugs and weapons across the borders into the USA in the 80s. One day he is picked up by the CIA. Barry is supposed to carry out dirty operations in South America for the CIA. Barry quickly realizes that despite everything he can still do his own business with the drug cartels. Soon his double life as a smuggler and secret agent makes him one of the richest men in the USA, but this quickly leads to new problems…
