What’s the movie about?
The action comedy “2 Guns” is about the DEA agent Bobby Trench (Denzel Washington) and the U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer “Stig” Stigman (Mark Wahlberg). Both were smuggled into a Mexican drug cartel as undercover agents, but they don’t know anything about each other. After the attempt to arrest the drug boss Papi Greco (Edward James Olmos) failed, the two have to come up with another plan. They decide to make a few million dollars disappear in a bank robbery. The plan works, but the captured sum is more than ten times as high as expected. Now begins a merciless hunt on them, in which the CIA, the Stigs Navy, the Mafia and some other parties interfere…
