What’s the movie about?
Martha (Anna Kendrick) was particularly belligerent as a child. Now she’s a young woman, and her prickly attitude has turned into a full-blown borderline personality disorder. On top of that, she always picks the wrong man. She catches her current boyfriend in flagrante delicto, whereupon she wants to have a good time with her girls instead of letting them comfort her. In the supermarket she meets Francis (Sam Rockwell), who seems to be a nice guy and with whom she immediately falls in love, but who actually earns his money as a contract killer. When his secret comes to light, the killing machine’s past catches up with the young couple faster than they would like. Because both his former instructor Hopper (Tim Roth) and the gangster brothers Vaughn (James Ransome) and Richard (Anson Mount) have it in for Francis…
