What’s the movie about?
Jericho Stewart (Kevin Costner) is a ruthless killer with no impulse control, no empathy and no ability to assess the consequences of his actions. Soon, however, he is given a particularly delicate task: Stewart is implanted by neuroscientist Dr. Franks (Tommy Lee Jones) with the memories of CIA agent Bill Pope (Ryan Reynolds), recently murdered by terrorist Xavier Heimdahl (Jordi Mollà). While his wife Jill (Gal Gadot) mourns the loss of her husband, he is supposed to remember his latest mission in Stewart’s body – where he took a man under Secret Service protection (Michael Pitt). This is a top priority for Pope’s superior (Gary Oldman); after all, the security of the Washington, D.C., Berlin and Beijing metropolises is at stake. But Jericho, a felon torn between two identities, proves to be a big risk.
